Ricardo's-Casino review

The developers of Tropica, Vegas Days, and Supreme Play Casinos have recently created another title for those who would like to try their luck. The notorious Cyberrock Entertainment launched the Ricardo’s Casino website in 2014.

The casino has a not a very savory reputation due to the past malpractice of Cyberrock Entertainment N.V. In the online casino industry, they are known for slow payouts and non-payments.

Several watchdog sites advise players to avoid this casino since the owner’s history shows multiple examples of suspicious and even predatory behavior.

General Information

Ricardo’s Casino was established in 2014. According to the information on their website, they hold a license issued by the government of Curaçao.

In recent years, it has been blacklisted by leading watchdog portals. They have such status because of the complaints regarding the other casinos from this group. If you browsed the Internet in the search for the casinos that belong to Cyberrock Entertainment, then you would find unfavorable comments about customer support and issues pertaining to non-payment. We do believe that you should be wary of joining their online community, keeping in mind their former practices. You could become another player mesmerized by their bonus offers only to be cheated out of your money without any repercussions.

On the other hand, if you decided that this casino was worth your time, then you should know that it offers a variety of payment methods. For those who use a credit card on a daily basis, their website accepts Visa and Mastercard. If you are a player who likes to use e-wallet banking options, Neteller, Skrill, and Paysafe are available for you.

Bitcoin is another offered method. The website advertises two more payment methods, Ukash, and Eco card, but these companies have closed their businesses, and they are no longer operating. So providing out-to-date information on the official site is another drawback that should be fixed.

First Impression

We accessed their website using Google and encountered the first issue. Their full version of the website did not appear immediately. What we saw was only a “Ricardo’s Casino” sign on a white background. For this reason, we thought that it was not working. The full page appeared after clicking on “Ricardo’s Casino.”

After accessing the page, the banner of their welcome bonus immediately caught our attention. It is 400% match up to 2000 ($,£,€) welcome bonus on the first deposit. New players get the “7 no deposit bonus”, and the wagering requirement is 60x the bonus. We would advise always checking whether the bonus is withdrawable as, in most cases, casino sites from this group offer widely advertised sticky bonuses.

Ricardo’s Casino has five categories for their games. These are table games, slots, progressives, video poker, and specialty games. There is an issue with some hyperlinks for the categories: once we clicked on “Specialty games”, we were redirected to their selection of slots. There are a bunch of things that should be improved on their website especially as it is a bit outdated.

The casino seems to pride itself on its customer service. The team is highly trained and friendly. You can contact them either via email or live chat. You can start the live chat only after you have logged in. However, you do not need to be logged into your account to send an email – the email address is under the “Support” section. The casino claims that they will respond to your email within 8 hours. Their response rate for emails is pretty much commendable, but we are not sure why they do not provide phone support.

Ricardo’s Casino ought to improve the website. Some parts, including the section which explains the use of bitcoin, are commendable.

Games and Software

As with most Cyberrock Entertainment websites, this one is also powered by Rival Gaming Software. Rival Powered is a famous developer of online casino games with more than 260 creations under its belt. Ricardo’s Casino has a huge selection of gaming options that includes more than 150 games on their website.

They offer classic casino table games for those who are more comfortable with these types of games. You can find roulette and blackjack among other things. They can boast a variety of slot games, with the famous I-Slots created exclusively by Rival Powered. There are even some video poker and specialty games, for those who don’t like slots.

You can play the games for fun or real money. And there are two ways for you to play games. The first option is an instant play which is accessible from their website. If you spend more time on your mobile phone, do not worry – they have it covered. A mobile version works fine for both Android and iOS users.

In order to attract players, they provide a match bonus as most online casinos do. In this case, they grant a 400% match up to 2000 ($,£,€). But there is also a disclaimer that their Terms and Conditions apply. It’s not a big deal from first glance, but when you check this section, you would see that free and deposit bonuses are only there to enhance the experience and are non-withdrawable. This is a standard thing with this and its sister casinos.

The casino offers a variety of games which can cater to anyone’s taste. It is up to you to decide which title is worthy of your attention. The only thing we can recommend in this regard is checking their Terms and Conditions before depositing any money.

User Experience

While conducting extensive research about the user experience, we were able to find both the good and bad sides. All in all, Ricardo’s Casino seems to be a step forward for its owner in terms of customer support.

You will mostly find disparaging comments about the service given by its sister casinos. And, although there are some negative comments about its customer service, the positive ones seem to prevail. A lot of players highlight that the agents are professional and friendly.

There are claims about non-payment. One player won €1400 on the website, but Ricardo’s Casino refused to pay him out. Not only did they refuse to pay him but they also claimed that he only won €400. After a lengthy discussion with customer support, they informed the player that he was only eligible for €270.

Even though the above complaint poses an issue for its reputation, it would seem that Ricardo’s Casino is moving in a different direction and that they are willing to work on areas that make its sister casinos rogue.

Our Verdict

In conclusion, Ricardo’s Casino can easily be labeled rogue due to its owner and non-payment complaints. They stated that they work on providing good customer support, do not be fooled by this – the fact that the issues regarding non-payments have been raised is enough for you to avoid it altogether.
