50 “Shades” of GClub Casino

Ever wondered what the number 1 online casino of all time was? Well, it certainly isn’t GClub, although they didn’t hesitate to bestow this title upon themselves.

There are plenty of reasons why you should never bet at this Thai-only casino, even if it were the last online casino on Earth.

General Information

As a self-proclaimed no. 1 online casino, GClub is certainly patting itself on the back way too hard. If they claimed to be the best online casino in Asia, people might have been more inclined to believe them. However, even that is quite a stretch.

GClub only supports the Thai language, and we couldn’t help but wonder why the “best” online casino would limit themselves to such a small audience. Intriguing, but no reason to sound the alarm just yet.

That said, there’s no shortage of issues with this casino, all of which raise legitimate concerns.

For starters, they don’t display their gambling license. And without a regulatory body to voice complaints to, there’s little players can do to resolve issues with this casino.

Furthermore, GClub provides games by an unknown software developer. As a rule of thumb, casinos with games of unknown origin tend to skew the odds in their favor. Countless rogue casinos have been caught tampering with the random number generator to ensure the results favor the house. However, we can’t confirm that’s the case with this casino, but we wouldn’t be surprised if their games were rigged, either.

Lastly, there is no mention of withdrawals in their terms and conditions. In other words, players have no idea what the withdrawal limits are or how long the process usually takes. Taking everything into consideration, the GClub online casino earns its rightful place on our list of blacklisted casinos.

First Impressions

Admittedly, we do not speak Thai. Nevertheless, the site does look professional. It’s obvious they’ve invested considerable efforts to make it visually appealing.

The site also features a contact number and a Live Chat option. These are both welcome additions to any online casino, as the ability to contact customer support and get a quick reply can be crucial in resolving the issues players are experiencing.

Another interesting thing to note is that GClub even hired professional Thai models who are currently featured throughout the website. It’s pretty apparent that they’re trying to attract a predominantly male, Thai audience.

However, upon further inspection of the website, it becomes evident that it is missing a crucial component. And herein lies the biggest problem with the GClub online casino…

There is absolutely no mention of a license or a governing body. The website merely states that you can play “the best casino games at a leading online casino.” Pretty sketchy by the online gambling industry standards.

The same is true for other Thai-only online gambling websites, such as casino1688, GClub88, BaBall24, sboBetTotal, GClubGames. A quick glance at all of them reveals that they’re basically a reskin of the same site.

At this point, we’ve already started feeling slightly uncomfortable.

Games and Software

Sadly, the situation with their games and software isn’t much different.

They certainly aren’t lacking in the visual department. The graphics are smooth and up-to-standard, and the audio helps provide an immersive gaming experience. There’s also a good variety of different games available at GClub. You’ll find everything from standard slots to Blackjack, Roulette, and other popular table games.

However, you have to dig under the surface to uncover the whole truth. First and foremost, they’re running games by an unknown software developer. This alone is reason enough for the vast majority of players to look for entertainment elsewhere.

Secondly, they give you the option to download their client for ease of access. It’s safe to say that we weren’t shocked to find out that this program has been flagged as dangerous. Supposedly, it contains a worm virus.

This is a serious threat, as worm viruses can wreak havoc on your computer. What’s more, worms can even steal data from your PC or Laptop and give hackers control over it.

In other words, by downloading the GClub Casino’s client, you’re not only risking handing over your account information to them. The risk is far greater, as they could potentially even gain access to files stored on your hard drive.

As Dodgy as It Gets

Nothing “smells” like a scam more than when a company goes out of their way to make it as quick and effortless to deposit money as possible but makes it painfully difficult to withdraw. Or in the case of GClub, fails to provide any information on how to withdraw the money in the first place.

The entire depositing process is genuinely hilarious. You can add money from an ATM, a bank counter, or via internet banking to the GClub Casino. But here comes the funny part:

After depositing, you’re supposed to call the GClub support and provide your banking information over the phone before they can add your deposit to your account. Not only is this unheard of, but it’s also blatantly rogue. No reputable online casino would ever request something like this.

This is, in our opinion, the pinnacle of shady behavior. We wouldn’t trust this casino group with a dime! You’d have to be very gullible to provide access to your bank account to complete strangers on the Internet.

User Experiences

Sadly, we didn’t have much luck finding GClub user experiences online, probably because it’s a Thai-only community. However, we wouldn’t exactly call our investigation fruitless.

We’ve run into multiple threads on several forums discussing the GClub spam. Apparently, GClub is actively running adverts looking for people to spam their links on gambling forums all over the web.

Mind you; these aren’t affiliates promoting the website. None of the people reported for posting hidden links to the website has had an affiliate tag. Makes sense, since they’d actually have to pay their affiliates. What the relationship between these people and the casino is remains unclear, but we can speculate that people in question were actually casino employees.

Regardless, these underhanded marketing strategies give valuable insights into the intentions of this casino’s management. In other words, they don’t hesitate to employ immoral, and likely downlight illegal activities, to generate more revenue.

Which begs the question, can we really expect them to treat their players fairly? All things considered, this is a bet we would definitely not be willing to take.

Our Verdict

We don’t need to understand the language to figure out that GClub Casino is up to no good. They don’t abide by the industry rules and regulations and don’t even bother displaying a license of any kind. We certainly wouldn’t count them among any of the good casinos.

On top of that, they use questionable software from an unknown developer. Now, we don’t want to assume anything, but let’s just say we wouldn’t be surprised to find that the games are rigged.

Furthermore, they do not provide any withdrawal information whatsoever. Their deposit process, on the other hand, requires you to provide bank details to their operators over the phone. That’s the only way to have the money (that they already charged you for) added to your account.

Although they probably try to justify this by telling players that they need to confirm their identity to prevent card theft or fraud, we’d wager that’s the bank’s job.

Finally, although they do not have any apparent affiliate program, they are actively working on building an army of spammers to flood gambling forums with hidden links to their casino.

Each of these points, as a stand-alone, is enough to have you second-guess the decision to play at GClub Casino. When considered collectively, they are a giant red flag, signaling to gamblers that they should avoid this shady casino at all cost.
