For this review, we went local, or maybe not? — The truth is, we’re not quite sure. BetVenedik is a Turkish online casino, available exclusively in the Turkish language. However, if you click on the live games option, most of the talking is in English. The casino was founded in 2015, and just like many others, it started off as a sports betting place. It appears they wanted to establish themselves as a serious online gambling place in Turkey first and then move on to Europe. At least that’s what they’re saying.
So we don’t hold it against them for not being available in English just yet. But here’s the biggest problem: gambling in Turkey is completely prohibited. Therefore, it means BetVenedik in itself is illegal too, as it caters to the Turkish audience. However, what raised some eyebrows for us instantly was that their URL goes under betvenedik45; in this case, it means that it likely signifies the website was blocked numerous times, and that the casino kept trying to revive it. This alone is a clear red flag of the casino’s malicious nature.
First Impression
The moment the website loads, you’re greeted with bonuses and newly added games. However, the website is completely in Turkish, so if you want to understand anything, you will need to refer to Google Translate for help. Overall, the site is quite opaque and difficult to navigate. The greatest part of the homepage is dedicated to sports betting. Logically, the only available currency is the Turkish Lira, and BetVenedik promises a bonus of 750TL as a warm welcome to their website.
That would be 142 USD or 124 EUR. At first, you would assume the betting is available for the Turkish audience only. However, live betting is entirely done in English, so it left us wondering. As for additional bonus terms, they offer 100% weekend bonus and a 30% casino loss bonus. BetVenedik seems to be promising a lot, and we will investigate whether they stick to their promises. But keep in mind that BetVenedik did find itself on the list of blacklisted casinos, so we tried doing our best to determine why.
Games and Software
This casino offers a couple of different options for gambling. There are sports betting, video slots, bingo, and live casino. The site puts a lot of emphasis on live betting and sports betting, which just makes it easier to see that these are its stronger qualities. Moreover, the software is developed by Parlay Games. Parlay Games is an old software making company, well known for producing mostly bingo games.
Unfortunately, BetVenedik doesn’t offer many slot games, and they don’t really motivate you to put more deposit in and keep gambling, as you get tired of all of them pretty fast. The slots work on a typical principle. They use the Random Number Generator to keep it fair. This is already a standard that most of the game making companies need to abide by. Either way, don’t expect too much from the slots section — it probably won’t be your favorite place on the website.
It was interesting for us to see they take live betting quite seriously. Once you enter the lounge, you’ll be presented with a couple of poker games lead by a croupier. And just for the eye candy, they are 99% good looking ladies. All of the cards croupiers pull out are ran over a scanner, as to appear on the user’s screen. You’ll also be able to play poker, baccarat, and bingo.
User Experience
Since this casino is relatively new to online casino lists, we’re not very certain how happy or unhappy users are with BetVenedik. It does seem they’re quite unhappy though, as the business practices of this casino are somewhat shady. The casino claims it is licensed by the MGA (Malta Gaming Authority) — this is written in Turkish at the bottom of the page, so make sure you do your translating. However, on the MGA website, BetVenedik found itself on the list of unauthorized URLs, stating: “Any reference to the MGA and/or gaming license/s said to be issued by the Maltese Authority, as stated on these domains, is false and misleading.” Does this mean BetVenedik is lying to its players in Turkey and perhaps abroad? However, the bottom line is, what this casino is doing is illegal. Misleading your players regarding serious legal regulations is simply bad business.
But just to give it a second chance, we decided to speak to the customer service of BetVenedik. You’ll be happy to know they have a live chat option, and they are quite responsive too. It took them only a couple of seconds to respond to our message. And for a website functioning in Turkish only, it did come as a pleasant surprise to find out they’re able to speak English. So once we asked them about the license, we received the same information written on the website.
They claimed to be licensed by the MGA. That is why we decided to confront them with the fact their casino was listed as misleading on the MGA webpage. Then, the person on the other side of the screen claimed that the MGA probably didn’t update their pages yet, an answer we honestly expected. Furthermore, we were also informed that BetVenedik will be opening up to European players soon because the casino decided to spread its business.
Terms and Conditions Are Unclear
Obviously, they are written in Turkish, and they apply to Turkish laws, so we had to translate everything. BetVenedik reserves the right to cancel all bets they consider incorrect at any time. With online casinos, this is usually a red flag. You can find so many users on the Internet complaining about casinos canceling bets once players win big money. That wouldn’t be a problem if the casinos didn’t often decide to keep all the money. Now, the next thing we didn’t like was that in order to file a complaint, you had to first speak to the casino’s live service. This doesn’t come as reassuring because customer support usually has very scripted answers in an attempt to convince you the casino didn’t do anything wrong.

Based on all the information we’ve gathered, BetVenedik is a rogue casino. We are absolutely convinced it doesn’t own a license, and the people behind the casino are misleading the players. Our piece of advice is to try and avoid BetVenedik, as there are no guarantees you’ll be able to withdraw the money you win.

Our total rating for BetVenedik would be 2 out of 10 stars. BetVenedik claims that the cashout time is 24 hours and since we have no proof to deny this fact, we choose to believe it. However, since the casino is not licensed, it may even be dabbling in illegal activities, and there is absolutely nothing to stop it from taking your money and never returning it.
