BetDNA: Known Cheaters and Crooks You Should Avoid
BetDNA is a casino that meets every single criterion for being labeled rogue. They’re known for running pirated games, changing betting lines, and slow payments. There have also been multiple situations where the casino simply never processed withdrawal requests. They would simply go dead-silent and never respond to the players’ inquiries, effectively stealing their legitimate winnings. On top of that, BetDNA has also been associated with several rogue groups, well-known for ripping off their players.
General Information
BetDNA is an online casino and a sportsbook, operating since 2007. Although direct ownership is difficult to discern, they have been associated with Amigotechs and Casino Affiliates Now groups.
The former is known for creating and publishing rigged games with “not-so-random” number generators. Amigotechs is ill-famed for rigging the RNG elements of games to generate results unfavorable to the player. As for the Casino Affiliates Now group, they are infamous for enforcing withdrawal fees, running pirated games, and changing sportsbook lines.
The BetDNA Casino had all of these problems over the past decade. They’ve been caught running pirated software on two separate occasions and were accused of changing sportsbook lines to favor the casino.
Furthermore, BetDNA operated without a license for a better part of their lifespan. They’ve only recently acquired a gambling license provided by the government of Costa Rica, which is almost equivalent to holding no license at all. Moreover, Costa Rica’s license offers no protection to players, and the only prerequisite for obtaining it is excluding Costa Rican citizens from your casino. Other than paying the fee, of course.
First Impression
The first thing that caught our eye upon loading BetDNA’s site was their logo and slogan. The logo is a DNA strand, and their slogan suggests that betting is in our DNA. We applaud their cleverness and originality. However, we believe the slogan desperately needs an update. It should read: “Because cheating is in our DNA.” After all, this would better reflect the casino’s moral values, or rather — lack thereof.
Jokes aside, the website doesn’t look that bad at first glance. It is professionally designed, easy on the eyes, and genuinely user-friendly. The available categories are included in the website’s footer, allowing you to easily navigate between Home, Sports Betting, Casino, Live Betting, and Promotions.
Additionally, each category unveils an extensive collection of games to bet on. In the case of the sportsbook, the available sports include NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, PGA (gold), and NCAAF (college football).
On the other hand, the casino side of BetDNA doesn’t lag behind either. There’s a good selection of slots, dozen of video poker variants, blackjack, table games, and live games. That said, multiple users report problems loading the games on their website, and the site itself seems to be experiencing frequent server issues.
Moving on, BetDNA also offers generous bonuses to both new and returning players. The bonuses are highlighted on the site’s homepage in the form of various banners. Their deposit bonuses range from 200% to 1,000%, but all of bonuses BetDNA offers are sticky. In other words, they can never be withdrawn. Furthermore, there are also maximum withdrawal limits while playing with bonuses, ranging from 0.5x to 5x the bonus.
Also, another thing worth noting is that some no-deposit bonuses are strictly tied to your sports betting balance and cannot be used on the casino portion of the website.
Games and Software
We can’t talk about the software BetDNA is currently running without mentioning the problems they’ve had with their software in the past. There has been no shortage of problems regarding this casino’s software in the past several years.
In 2015, the BetDNA was caught running pirated Microgaming and Playtech games. This is a serious issue and is indicative of this casino’s dishonest intentions. Interestingly enough, BetDNA haven’t learned their lesson the first time around. Only a year later, Novomatic and Net Entertainment both confirmed that the games BetDNA were offering weren’t genuine.
Still, BetDNA didn’t remove all Novomatic games from their repertoire. They simply added more variety with Betsoft games, but we have every reason to doubt the authenticity of the games they currently provide as well. But even if their games were proven to be genuine this time around, that still wouldn’t change the fact that the casino’s library isn’t anything special. In fact, they offer less than a hundred games by a single provider. And since Betsoft isn’t exactly crème de la crème, you’re bound to get bored after trying out a dozen or so of their slots.
The sportsbook side of the casino isn’t much brighter either. Although they offer a substantial variety of different sports events to bet on, they have been accused of changing the betting lines in the past.
All in all, there’s plenty of evidence to suggest that this casino is indulging in rogue behavior and shifting the odds in their favor. Naturally, we would advise you to stay as far away from this casino as possible.
User Experience
There is a decent number of complaints regarding slow payments, issues with bonuses, and unresponsiveness. Although the number of issues isn’t overwhelming, there are some player reports that would suggest BetDNA isn’t exactly keen on paying its players.
As a matter of fact, the casino is somewhat responsive and appears to be attempting to resolve some players’ issues, though without much consistency. We’re guessing since they’re running rigged games and changing the betting lines as they please, refusing to process withdrawal requests would be a bit too much. In fact, it makes sense that BetDNA would pay the players to keep them coming back so they could continue manipulating the odds in their favor. However, that doesn’t mean the casino won’t make the withdrawal process as painfully long as possible.
In multiple instances, they’ve delayed the process for more than three months. Of course, they never reached out to the players or offered any sort of explanation for the delay. And it’s not like they only went dead-silent when huge winnings were involved. There have been multiple reports where the casino was unresponsive regarding a $200 or even a lower cashout.
What is more, when players tried to find out what was going on, the casino’s customer service would always give the same answer. They would tell them that someone would get back to them in 3 days, even if the users insisted that more than 21 days had past and that they’ve seen the same copy-pasted answer seven times already.
Retroactively Changing the Betting Lines
In regards to switching the betting lines, we thought we’d give you the context. One of BetDNA’s players had contacted a mediator and provided evidence (screenshots) of the casino changing the lines after the bets were placed. And the changes were drastic. On one of the bets, the line changed from +4 to -4, putting the player at a severe disadvantage.
BetDNA first tried to fall back on their terms and conditions and accuse the player at hand of botting. This was an attempt to quickly dismiss the whole issue. However, they couldn’t provide sufficient evidence to back this claim. And even if they did, that wouldn’t have changed the fact that the betting lines were changed. So they blamed it on the software, called it a software issue, paid the player the difference, and went on their merry way.
However, given their cheating history, we highly doubt the software “messed up.” After all, this casino has been repeatedly exposed as a fraud. They might pay you if you win, but BetDNA is also going to heavily skew the odds in their favor. This is immoral and unethical, and more than enough of a reason to earn BetDNA the blacklisted status.

Our Verdict
There’s nothing a casino that has been confirmed to have run pirated software and rigged their games can say or do that would change our opinion. We would never, under any circumstances, play a single hand or spin at this casino.
And neither should you… By running cheating software and changing betting lines on a whim, they’re ensuring that the odds are heavily in their favor. This makes it next to impossible to walk out of the BetDNA Casino with a decent win.
So why bother playing there in the first place? You’ll be much better off avoiding this rogue casino entirely. They are among the blacklisted casinos for a good reason.
