Pamper Casino’s Decade of Scamming Players Finally Comes to an End
Imagine a casino running pirated software, treating their customers poorly, and taking several months to pay out winnings. What do you think its lifespan would be?
Surprisingly, Pamper was around for nearly a decade, in spite of meeting all of the criteria listed above. How they managed to pull that off remains a mystery to us.
That said, we’re glad the community finally saw Pamper Casino for who they really were and stopped sinking money into this rogue pit.
General Information
Pamper Casino, formerly operated by Operia Costa Rica Sociedad De Responsabilidad Limitada, is the prime example of a rogue online casino. We’d venture as far as to say that Pamper failed to do anything right.
Since their launch back in 2008, there have been a series of severe problems with this casino. During its decade-long life, Pamper has been caught running pirated software on three separate occasions. In all three instances, the developers have stated that Pamper Casino was, in fact, not one of their clients. The software manufacturers in question were Net Entertainment, Playtech, and Microgaming.
Running pirated games inherently puts players at risk and does a huge disservice to legitimate software providers. Consequently, Pamper Casino had become blacklisted in most reputable online gambling communities.
However, what we find unfathomable was that, despite three confirmed piracy allegations, Pamper survived a whole decade in the online gambling industry. What likely contributed to this was the fact that they mainly targeted new players with limited or no knowledge of online gambling.
Still, another warning sign for everyone considering betting at Pamper was the fact that, throughout those 10 years, they haven’t provided any information regarding their license. In other words, they never had a license and have never even bothered obtaining one.
And as icing on the cake, Pamper used to regularly receive a substantial number of complaints from their players. Most of these complaints criticized the painfully slow payment process, terrible customer support, and non-payments.
No wonder they’ve been dubbed the “Worst Casino of 2016.”
Near the end of the last year, Pamper finally reached their limits. They could no longer keep up the charade. The vast majority of the players were well aware of their agenda, ultimately leading to Pamper’s permanent shut down.
First Impression
Pamper Casino is officially closed as of December last year. Interestingly enough, the website doesn’t seem to be down. In fact, if you venture over to pamper.casino, you’ll see a banner with a €1,000 welcome bonus. Under that is what appears to be a poorly-written review, or more accurately — a promotion of the Pamper Casino, in German.
Don’t worry if you don’t speak German. It’s not like you’re missing out on much. There isn’t a shred of useful information there — just a ton of fluff and songs of praise about Pamper.
However, the truth unfolds once you click the play button. It appears that a German brand — Betway Casino — is trying to take advantage of Pamper’s downfall. They’re funneling traffic directly from pamper.casino to their website.
They’re utilizing black-hat SEO strategies and targeting the same audience as Pamper once targeted, which suggests this casino isn’t much different. But enough about them.
What matters is that Pamper Casino is no more. The fewer of these pathetic excuses for casinos we have tarnishing the entire industry’s reputation, the better.
Pampering You With “Generous” Bonuses
Pamper Casino’s main way of attracting new players was through insanely high bonuses. At one point, the deposit bonus offered by this casino was as high as 2000% up to $4,000. Sounds a bit too good to be true, doesn’t it? That’s because it is.
All of Pamper’s bonuses, including the massive welcome bonus, were sticky. In other words, the $4,000 they so graciously bestowed upon you were there just to make your life worse. You could never withdraw the bonus, and you would have to meet the wagering requirements before you can withdraw anything.
On the other hand, the wagering requirements at Pamper Casino were 50x bonus. So with a higher bonus, they essentially only made it more difficult for you to clear the requirements. On top of that, their Terms and Conditions stated that the maximum win amount during bonus play was 1x bonus.
Also, with a deposit of $200, you would have to wager $200,000 to be able to withdraw anything at all. Plus, they would remove $4,000 — the original bonus amount — from your account during your first payout. The moral of the story is: don’t judge a book by its cover, or the welcome bonus by its amount.
Games and Software
If nothing else, Pamper Casino was persistent. We have to give them that. You’d think that getting caught running pirated software once would deter them from doing the same thing in the future.
What’s slightly amusing is that they didn’t even try to hide it. Anyone knowledgeable about different software providers would’ve spotted the signs right away. For instance, after downloading their client, you could have clearly seen NetEnt games were uploaded from skygaming.com. Moreover, NetEnt has confirmed that they had nothing to do with this domain.
After years of running pirated, cheating software, Pamper finally switched to Betsoft. Certainly a step in the right direction, but too little too late. Once you’re widely known for running cheating and pirated software, there’s absolutely no chance for repentance.
Also, not making an effort to obtain a license over the course of ten years doesn’t exactly instill confidence in new players. No wonder Pamper ended up “locking the door and tossing away the key.”
User Experience
As expected of a casino running pirated games, they weren’t exactly adamant in resolving player complaints either. In fact, the large number of unresolved issues indicate that Pamper cared very little about their players’ experience.
The best case scenario — you had to wait several months before they paid out your winnings. And if worse came to worst, Pamper would simply decide not to pay you. Also, there have been multiple instances, mostly involving Bitcoins, where Pamper never accredited the funds to the player’s account in the first place.
And to make things worse, contacting their customer service proved pointless. Players were often met with generic, rehearsed responses that did nothing except buy time for Pamper. Typically, they would delay your request until they found a loophole in their terms and conditions. If they couldn’t find anything to pin on you, they would simply remain dead-silent.
The Live Chat was just as horrible as their email support. It would appear everyone was in on the scam, save for the unsuspecting players.
Always Screenshot Live Chat Correspondence
Let us give you an example of how Pamper’s customer support perpetuated the scam.
In one instance, a player had forgotten that they have already opened an account with the casino. And upon signing up for the second time, the Live Chat rep notified the player of the issue. However, the player was told the issue would be resolved by the casino, and they would simply close one of the accounts.
In hindsight, this was an obvious trap. Clearly, since having multiple accounts is a breach of the T&Cs, Pamper could have voided the player’s winnings at any time. Naturally, they assured the player that all was well and encouraged them to keep playing at the casino.
While the player kept depositing and losing, nobody batted an eye. However, as soon as they got a winning streak and went to cash out $1,000 — Pamper’s customer support resurfaced with a different interpretation of the rule. They instantly wiped the players account balance due to the violation of terms.
Things got interesting once the player reached out to a mediator for help. They engaged in a heated discussion with a Pamper representative, who claimed the player had made everything up and was never given the “green light” to go ahead and keep playing.
The casino wagered on the fact that the player didn’t save screenshots of the Live Chat, and dismissed their claims as unsubstantiated. The unfortunate player learned the lesson the hard way — always take screenshots of Live Chat conversations.

Our Verdict
Other than perhaps a chuckle caused by an eerie similarity in name with a brand of diapers, there’s nothing even remotely positive we can say about Pamper Casino. From running pirated games and trapping players with sticky bonuses to their slow and no pay policy — Pamper checked off every box on the rogue list.
They are crooks who preyed upon naive and inexperienced players and ran away with their winnings. So it’s safe to say that we won’t mourn the departure of Pamper from the online gambling industry.
We can only express our regret that these charlatans didn’t shut down way sooner.
