This online casino is closed, and it is due to a tough competition that probably crushed it. However, what further contributed to that was some unprofessional and scamming activity, which will be discussed later. Their customer service is non-existent, as the FAQ section leads nowhere, and the link to the 24/7 live chat opens an ad. Furthermore, the entire website, in general, is poor, with pure HTML content, which is unacceptable for a website that was last updated in 2016. Moreover, there are plenty of broken links, choosing a different language does absolutely nothing, and the content is extremely poor. And as an icing on the cake, the terms and conditions page does not exist.
The casino was licensed by the Government of the Netherlands Antilles and operated under the Authority of Master Licensing and Hosting provider Cyberluck Curaçao N.V. The ownership belonged to the CV on Net NV, Emancipatie Blvd 31, Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles. And even though BeTheDealer is not operating anymore, it is on a list of blacklisted online casinos.
Games and Software
The available casino games were roulette, blackjack, and slots. And the links to these are broken as well, and there is also a “Download Now” option. Unfortunately, things like that tend to happen when a casino goes under after a while.
On the other hand, we should mention that BeTheDealer uses proprietary software. On their website, you can find the option to either download it to your computer or simply play instantly online. As far as proprietary software goes, we don’t usually judge casinos too harshly. But when a casino proves that it shouldn’t be trusted, playing proprietary games can be quite risky. Remember, the casino is in full control of those games, and they might be rigged. As soon as you enter their website, you get the impression that you are in the wrong place and that you should turn around and leave. In the beginning, however, this online gaming business gave some hope to their players. Everything seemed to be working as intended, player’s complaints were taken care of, payments have been carried out in time, and BTD stuck to the promises they’ve given to their players. But soon enough, things started to get shady. Payments were late and the players were beginning to get suspicious, but they were asked to be patient, and so they were. The issues were supposed to be resolved in a civilized way, but that wasn’t the case. It was only but false hope for the scammed players, and as time passed by, the things just got worse. Only one in four payments was dealt with, and the complaints from the players were ignored. They probably fell into a financial crisis, but the solution for it, by using illegal purposes in order to get back on their feet, was unacceptable. The problem remained unresolved, and they went out of business. Also, it remains uncertain if the scammed players ever got their money back.
User Experience
It does not come as a surprise that the comments and the reviews are mostly negative. In correlation with the late payments that were already mentioned, players were not happy about being ripped off, being asked for patience, and not receiving what they’ve bargained for. The customer support had partially positive feedback because they did reply quickly and in a proper manner, but as soon as the players would start asking “hard” questions, they would stop answering.

1) The website is not working properly, the design looks unprofessional, and all in all, it is quite amateurish.

Our Verdict
Everything about this casino is and was shady. From the website layout, all the way to the customer service and the way the BeTheDealer has treated their players — everything is suspicious, unprofessional, and very ambiguous. And even though it is closed, players should avoid this casino by all means and all the others related to it. There are much better options out there, so seek them out.
